this worktop organiser was designed to neaten up a corner of a kitchen. it was built to potentially house a number of things, like; cookbooks, charging station for phones, plants and ornaments, spices or other ready at hand ingredients. one section had a door added to effectively hide cables, chargers, sockets and other unseemly items. stepping the shelves gives the organiser a less imposing expression and offers great versatility for placing plants or ornaments. an alexa show was also incorporated in the design giving the user the option to look up recipes, play music or add shopping lists.
the whole unit is made from orange and charcoal grey valchromat and finished with OSMO hard wax oil, making it moisture resistant and easy to keep clean.
